BonnerA small space with big potential
What the client thought:
“Our yard was embarrassing and difficult to maintain so we challenged Gardengigs to create a space which suited our family, lifestyle, budget and added value to our property. Greg developed an incredible design to maximise the space, utilising only plants suitable to our climate and location then his hardworking team executed it perfectly.
We are very proud of our new garden and could never have accomplished the same result if we attempted it ourselves. Gardengigs are a wonderful team to work with and we recommend them to anyone considering about a garden makeover.”

Where we Started
This sunken rear yard in Bonner really needed a lift.
The patch of weed in the centre of the yard was holing water and not giving the owners much it the way of usable space for their growing family.
What we came up with
With any small space maximising it is vital for the overall feel of the property. We turned and removed some soil and improved the drainage and levels.
Narrow garden beds were added to the border which softened the stone walls and synthetic turf.
Deep pile synthetic turf with a curved metal edge adding a multi-use area and bringing a constant neat and manicured feel to the area.
Established plants were added to large feature pots, bringing elegance and flair eclipsing the wall and fence structures.
Landscape lights added to highlight the feature pots whilst casting shadows on the fence behind them.
Deck added using wide jetty boards adding warmth and soul the area. A vast improvement to the stark cold concrete.
The End Result
A sophisticated multi-purpose garden with room to play and entertain. A retreat for the family or a haven for the adults. A low maintenance space filled with year-round colour, fragrance and structure.
